In the early 1990s, Rob Chabot—an experienced theatre operator himself—recognized a gap in the industry. The available solutions were either too complex or not designed with the unique needs of cinemas in mind. Determined to build a better system, Rob began developing software that prioritized simplicity, speed, and reliability.

What started as a solution for a small family-operated theatre chain quickly evolved into a comprehensive platform trusted by theatres of all sizes. With a passion for problem-solving and a deep understanding of the industry, Rob infused RTS with features that streamline operations and elevate the guest experience.
